Sub. for Senate Bill 485 -- “A BILL to amend and reenact §5A-3-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to the Purchasing Division; exempting the Secretary of State from the competitive bidding process for specific purchases of securing, facilitating, or supporting critical election infrastructure; requiring the Secretary of State to provide certain documents related to exempt purchases to the Director of the Purchasing Division for posting on the division’s website; providing an exception to the requirement to provide certain documents to the director.”.
